In honor of National Nurses Week, we celebrate the extraordinary nurses who play an instrumental role in caring for our communities.

We are extremely grateful for the dedication, sacrifice and outstanding care nurses provide. They deserve to be celebrated every day for tremendous efforts, skill and compassion.

In choosing this career path, nurses answer a special calling to serve others and fulfill many roles as caregiver, listener, communicator, friend, superhero and so much more. They make all the difference in our patients’ lives.

In these uncertain times of limited visitors in health care facilities, nurses also are serving as a connection to the best of society. As isolation and loneliness naturally take hold for many patients facing extended stays, nurses provide that crucial and compassionate human touch, added therapy for the safety and healing of our patients.

We know of nurses’ selfless efforts and sacrifices. Trumbull Regional Medical Center salutes you and supports you. We are grateful.
