He was born April 30, 1944, the son of the late Charles Arthur Kuhns and Hazel Margaret Wolford Kuhns.
Larry worked for many years at Packard Electric on the EDS system and later worked on the EDS system under Ross Perot. He had a lifelong love of golf, enjoyed building his own golf clubs, and taught golf at Prestwick Golf Club.
