NILES - Robert Michael Walters, 49, passed away at 4:35 a.m. on Friday, Oct. 30, 2026, at the Beeghly Oaks Nursing Home, following a long illness.
He was born July 2, 1977, in Youngstown, Ohio, the son of Michael A. and Kathryn K. Klein Walters.
Bob was a graduate of Niles McKinley High School and the ITT Technical Institute. He was the shift manager at the Papa Johns Pizza on Vienna Avenue in Niles, until this past July. He enjoyed playing video games and watching sporting events, especially the Cleveland Browns and Ohio State Buckeyes.
Bob is survived by his parents, with whom he lived; sister, Molly Walters; best friend, Mike Rickard; special aunt, Sue; cat, Essie, all of Niles; and many cousins.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents and his cat, Pumpkin.
Honoring his wishes, private services for the immediate family have taken place.

Bob would say, "The most important things in life are not things."
