He was born on Feb. 20, 1962, in Warren, a son of William and Edith Church Flickinger. On Dec. 6, 2002, he married the love of his life, Kelly Kerr.

Russell graduated from Leavittsburg High School, also attending TCTC. He worked as a supervisor/technician in various plastic manufacturing plants in Middlefield, Chardon and Solon.

The family would like to thank the entire staff in the ICU at St. Joseph Warren Hospital for its care during his time there. A very special “thank you” to Dr. Kanika Nair of Cleveland Clinic for her care over the years and personal commitment to him.
