Rosalie A. Sustak 1940-2026

LORDSTOWN -- Rosalie Annette Sustak, 86, passed away Monday evening, Oct. 5, 2026, at St. Joseph Warren Hospital.

Rosalie was born Aug. 30, 1940, in Erie, Pa., a daughter of the late John and Katherine Paris.

She was a 1959 graduate of Academy High School in Erie, Pa., and worked in the retail industry for 20 years. She retired from Hopkins Pharmacy in Cortland.

Rosalie's biggest enjoyment was her family and family events. She also enjoyed bowling with her husband, crafting, knitting and crocheting, and watching football games on TV. She especially liked the Kansas City Chiefs.

Rosalie will be deeply missed by her husband of 63 years, Thomas; her daughters, Robin Sikut and Jennifer (Eugene) Kale; her son, Kenneth Sustak; grandchildren, Christopher, Cassidy, Julia, Amelia, Gabriel and Matthew; many nieces and nephews; and son-in-law, Andy.

She was preceded in death by her three brothers, Anthony Paris, John Paris and Richard Paris; and four sisters, Rita Paris, Marilyn Delsolar, Carolyn Niejelski and Elaine Paris.

Family and friends may visit from 8:30 to 10:30 a.m. Friday, Oct. 9, 2026, at Lane Family Funeral Homes, Shafer-Winans Chapel, 164 North High St., Cortland.

A Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 11 a.m. Friday at St. Robert Bellarmine Catholic Church, 4659 state Route 46, Cortland.

Burial will take place in All Souls Cemetery.
