Reynolds M. Glass 1933-2026

NILES -- Reynolds M. "Ray" Glass, 92, passed away peacefully in his sleep on Monday morning, Oct. 5, 2026.

He was born on Dec. 18, 1933, in Coalport, Pa., a son of Glynn and Thelma Frantz Glass.

He was a member of the Teamsters Local 377 and proudly recorded 7 million accident-free miles as a truck driver. He was a trainer of drivers and car hauler for Anchor Motor Freight, where he retired in 2000.

Ray loved and cherished the time spent with his wife, children and grandchildren. He also enjoyed camping, fishing, riding his bike and watching NASCAR.

Ray is survived by his children, Rae Jean Sutton, Patti Ann Clymer, Donna Marie (Kevin) Kramer, Sandi (Robert) Cvetkovich and William Glynn Glass, all of Niles; 10 grandchildren, Richie (Lisa) Sutton, Michael Sutton, Theresa Clymer, Miranda (Mike) Ezzo, Robby (Jamie) Clymer, Eric Kramer, Marc Kramer, Beth Cvetkovich, Steve Cvetkovich and Londyn Glass; eight great-grandchildren, Caleb, Camille, Colston, Stefanie, Brendan, Dominique, Anthony and Bodhi; two sisters, Lucille Jones of Girard and Lorraine Glass of Warren; and two brothers, Clifton Glass of Girard and Garry Glass of Niles.

He was preceded in death by his loving wife, Patricia M. Richardson Glass, whom he married on May 25, 1956, and who passed away on Oct. 14, 2001; two sons-in-law, Rick Sutton and Bill Clymer; and three sisters, Jane Kashien, Dolores Schlaegel and Elaine Glass.

The funeral will begin at noon Friday, Oct. 9, 2026, at the Holeton-Yuhasz Funeral Home, where family and friends may call one hour prior to the service.

Burial will be in Niles City Cemetery.
