ROCKY MOUNT, N.C. -- Nina Louise Rudy Winyard, 91, passed away on Saturday, Sept. 19, 2026, at Trinity Elms Health and Rehab in Clemmons, North Carolina.
She was born to the late Charles C. Rudy and Ethel May Prince Rudy on Sept. 25, 1935, in Trumbull County, Ohio.
Nina was a devoted homemaker, as her children and family meant the most to her. She enjoyed reading, crosswords, Sunday school and watching Carolina sports. She was a paralegal earlier in her life.
In addition to her parents, Nina was preceded in death by her husband, Arthur Harold Winyard Jr.; her two daughters, Heather Winyard McCarthy, and Lori Winyard; and her sister, Olive Rudy Sterling.
Those left to cherish her memory include her son, Mark David Winyard.
Per Nina's wishes, there will be a private family service taking place at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Trellis Supportive Care, 101 Hospice Lane, Winston-Salem, NC 27103.
