GIRARD - George F. Quinn, 76, of Girard, passed away Sunday, Oct. 18, 2026, at his residence, with his family by his side.
George was born Dec. 12, 1949, in Bridgeport, W.Va., the son of the late James and Geraldine Repp Quinn.
George served his country in the US Navy during the Vietnam War.
He retired after 30 years of working at Lease Way, in Lordstown, as a car hauler.
He was a member of the Catholic War Veterans, the Amvets, American Legion Post #556 and served with the American Legion Honor Guard for Post #235.
He leaves to cherish his memory his wife, the former Lisa Snyder, whom he married Oct. 7, 2009; his daughters, Kim Hill and Tracy Quinn, both of West Virginia; three grandsons and one granddaughter; sister-in-law, Janice Snyder of Beaver Creek; brother-in-law, Jim (Jerilyn) Snyder of Girard; nieces, Lindsay Snyder of Girard and Kelsey Snyder of Columbus; and his beloved dog, Scotty.
A celebration of life will be held for George at a later date.
