WARREN - Dorothy Jean Armstrong Sellers, 86, of Warren, died at 10:30 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 15, 2026, at Mercy Health St. Joseph Warren Hospital, following complications from an extended illness.
She was born July 1, 1940, in Luverne, Alabama, the daughter of Edward L. and Ruby Lee Woods Armstrong Sr.
Dorothy was employed with Trumbull Memorial Hospital before retiring in 2000.
She was a member of the Supreme Council of the House of Jacob.
She is survived by three sons, Roleith Stevenson, Stacey Sellers and Lionel Sellers, all of Warren; four sisters, Annie Reeder of Columbus, Mary Ann Hill, Joanna Richardson and Dale Armstrong, all of Warren; nine grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by one son, Vince Stevenson; two brothers; two sisters; and three grandchildren.
Services will be noon Friday at the Sterling-McCullough Williams Funeral Chapel, with calling hours from 11 a.m. to noon.
Burial will be at Pineview Memorial Park Cemetery.
