HOWLAND -- Virginia Elaine Pipa, 95, passed away peacefully into eternal rest on Wednesday, Sept. 15, 2026, at Shepherd of the Valley-Howland.
Virginia was born Jan. 14, 1931, in Tams, W. Va., a daughter of Michael and Mary Pipa.
She lived in Howland for most of her life and was a 1948 graduate of Warren G. Harding High School. Virginia worked in the payroll department at Peerless Electric in Warren for 32 years before retiring in 1992.
Virginia was preceded in death by her parents.
She is survived by her sister, Mary Ann (Walter) Romanski; her nieces, Diane, Karen and Sherri Romanski, and Debbie (Jason) Marcellus; and great-nieces and great-nephew, Alexa and Kelly, daughters of Diane; Lindsay, daughter of Karen; Jake Mossing, son of Sherri; and Jillian and Delanie, daughters of Debbie and Jason.
The family would especially like to recognize Betty Blake for the extraordinary love, kindness and compassionate care she gave Virginia over the years. Betty was much more than a caregiver to Virginia, and the family will forever be grateful for the genuine affection, companionship and comfort she provided. Her devotion to Virginia and the special bond they shared meant more to the family than words can adequately express.

A funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 26, 2026, at SS. Peter and Paul Byzantine Catholic Church, 180 Belvedere Ave. NE, Warren, OH 44483.
Virginia will be entombed in Pineview Memorial Park in Warren.
