WARREN -- Shirley J. Ledgerwood, 91, entered into eternal rest Thursday, July 9, 2026, at Community Skilled Health Care Centre, Warren.
She was born Sept. 5, 1934, in Warren, the daughter of Patrick and June Bailey Minish.
A graduate of Warren G. Harding High School, Shirley retired as a supervisor in the chemistry division of Trumbull Memorial Hospital. Shirley was a terrific gardener and loved to tend to her flowers. She was also an avid swimmer.
Precious memories of Shirley live on with her two children, Jeffrey Ledgerwood (Stacey) of Tampa, Florida, and LeeAnn Ledgerwood of Warren; her friend and all-around good guy, Cliff Tims of Warren; and her beloved, her four-legged BFF.
Preceding her in death was her beloved husband of 56 years, Leland F. Ledgerwood.
Services will begin at noon Thursday, Sept. 17, 2026, in the chapel of Howland Community Church, 198 Niles Cortland Road SE, Warren, OH 44484, with the Rev. Erica Brown officiating. Friends may call an hour prior to the services from 11 a.m. to noon in the John Howland Room of the church. All who know and love Shirley are welcome to attend and celebrate her magnificent life.
A fellowship meal will be served following the service in the John Howland Room. All who attend the service are invited.
