WARREN -- Paul G. Capito Jr., 79, passed away on Saturday, Aug. 29, 2026, at his home.
He was born June 24, 1947, in Warren, a son of Paul G. Capito Sr. and Julia Esau Capito.
Paul was a graduate of Warren G. Harding High School and retired from Denman Tire. He was a collector of all things. Paul loved doing toy shows with his wife and kids. He enjoyed meeting people and looking for his next deal. Paul loved performing magic for kids through the Youngstown Magic Club. Eventually teaching his grandson, Matthew and great-grandson, Robbie a few tricks. He was so proud of them as he watched them perform. PaPa enjoyed playing and spending time with Lexie.
He is survived by his wife, Diane Gene Bell Capito of Warren; sons, Paul J. (Cheryl) Capito of Howland and Michael J. (Karen Kunkle) Capito, also of Howland; grandchildren, Jennifer (Robert) Freeman of Cortland, Chris Anguish of Brookfield, Amanda Kunkle of Pittsburgh, Pa., and Matthew Kunkle of Miami, Florida; and great-grandchildren, Robbie Freeman and Lexie Freeman.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
A celebration of life will take place at a later date.
