NILES -- Patricia E. "Dolly Basile" Bessette, 84, passed away Sunday, Sept. 20, 2026, at Park Vista Nursing and Rehab in Youngstown.
She was born July 31, 1942, in Youngstown, a daughter of Patrick and Frances Maffo Basile.
Known as "Dolly" to her family and friends, she was a graduate of Warren G. Harding High School and was a member of the National Christian Community in Bazetta. She was a special needs teacher at CCPS in Naples, Florida, where her students affectionately called her Mrs. B.
Dolly is survived by her two sons, Richard P. Jorza of Deltona, Florida, and Craig (Stephanie) Jorza of Canal Fulton; four grandchildren, Megan, Chad, Kevin and Ryan; and 11 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Leo Bessette; brother, Donald Basile; and sister, Matilda Bova.
As per Dolly's wishes, there are no services. Cremation has taken place.
Arrangements were entrusted to the Holloway-Williams Funeral Home and Cremation Service, 611 Robbins Ave., Niles, OH 44446.
