WARREN -- John Milton Davis, 85, died Wednesday, Sept. 2, 2026, at Washington Square Nursing Home following a lengthy illness.
He was born Feb. 3, 1941, in Luverne, Alabama, a son of O.C. Davis and Lalie B. Canty-Davis.
He was an Army veteran, retired from employment as a foreman and worked in security at Delphi Packard Corp.
He was a member of Friendship Baptist Church.
Survivors include six daughters, Callie T. Evans of Columbus, Natasha Price of Warren, Yolanda T. Davis of Cleveland, Monique Hooks of Warren, Donzaleigh of Pittsburgh, Pa., and Wandalyn J. Davis of Youngstown; his brothers, James, Joseph and Theopholis Davis; his sisters, Ceola Brown and Cynthia Anderson; 19 grandchildren; 34 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
John was preceded in death by his wife, Percy Carter-Davis; his daughter, Cassandra Davis; one grandson; and one great-grandson.
Calling hours, with viewing, will be 10 to 11 a.m., with services at 11 a.m. Friday, at Friendship Baptist Church, Warren.
