WARREN -- Isaac Ramsey "Ike" Scott Sr., 90, passed away on Saturday, Sept. 5, 2026, at Gillette Nursing Home.
He was born Feb. 26, 1936, in Colton, W.Va., the son of the late Willard L. Scott Sr. and the late Virginia P. Ramsey Scott.
On June 20, 1959, Ike married the love of his life, Annette, with whom he spent 67 wonderful years.
He graduated from Vienna High School, Class of 1954, and served in the United States Army, where he was a sharpshooter and received the Good Conduct Medal. After the military, Ike worked as a tool and die maker at Packard Electric for 40 years before retiring. After retirement, he enjoyed pursuing his many interests, traveling and making memories with his family.
Ike was a member of North Mar Church, the Vienna Fish and Game Club, the Greenville Sportsman Club, and the Christian Bow Hunters. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and sports, as well as riding dirt bikes, four-wheelers and jet skis with his grandchildren. He was an avid traveler and enjoyed many hunting trips and adventures throughout the United States and as far as Argentina. He and Annette also traveled extensively together, making wonderful memories in places such as Ireland, Greece, Israel, Jordan and the Bahamas. Of all the adventures and experiences life brought him, his greatest joy was the time he spent with his family.
He is survived by his wife, Annette Millard Scott of Warren; his children, Jeffrey (Tammy) Scott of Bristolville and Sandra (Daniel) Dolan of Brunswick; his brother, John (Barbara) Scott; grandchildren, Jennifer Scott, Ramsey Scott, Kassandra (Mark) DiThomas, Conor Dolan, Brigid (Ryan) Redka and Erin (Ryan) Pope; and great-grandchildren, Alex Scott, Isaac Scott IV, Everett Redka and Finley-Annette Redka.
Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, Isaac R. Scott Jr., and brothers, Willard L. Scott Jr. and Charlie Scott.
Memorial services will be at noon Saturday, Sept. 12, 2026, at North Mar Church in Warren, where Pastor Myron Daum will officiate.
Friends may call from 10 a.m. to noon before the service at the church.
Interment will be in Crown Hill Cemetery in Vienna.
In lieu of flowers, the family would like donations made to North Mar Church Food Pantry in Ike's name.
