WARREN -- Gerald Donley, 80, of Warren, passed away Saturday, Sept. 12, 2026, at Washington Square Healthcare.
He was born June 21, 1946, in Steubenville, the son of John R. and Lucille May Miller Donley.
Gerald retired from the General Motors Fabrication Plant. He was a veteran of the United States Air Force, having served during the Vietnam War.
Gerald was a member of the VFW Post 1090 and the NAUS Club. He collected Mattel Hot Wheel Cars and enjoyed watching NASCAR.
He is survived by his wife, Georgetta Stiles Donley; son, Shawn (Marianne) Donley; daughter, Keri (Michael) Sweeney; stepson, Justin Downing; stepdaughters, Melissa Vandegrift and Melinda (Jay) Henderlight; granddaughter, Carmella Stoyle; step-grandson, Michael Vandegrift; and step-granddaughter, Bridget Sweeney.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Diane Donley.
Services will be at noon Wednesday, Sept. 23, 2026, at the Carl W. Hall Funeral Home.
Friends may call from 10 a.m. to noon Wednesday, Sept. 23, 2026, at the Carl W. Hall Funeral Home.
Interment will be in Oakwood Cemetery, Warren.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that any material contributions be made to any Veteran's organization, in his honor.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the Carl W. Hall Funeral Home.
