WARREN -- Chester F. Davison, 94, of Warren, went to be with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Sunday, Sept. 20, 2026.
He was born Jan. 6, 1932, in Warren, son of the late Lewis L. and Lucy L. Hotchkiss Davison.
Chester married Phyllis E. Jones on March 27, 1952, and they shared 68 wonderful years together until her passing in 2020.
Chester was a 1949 graduate of Warren G. Harding High School.
He served his country in the U.S. Navy from 1951 to 1955. Upon honorable discharge, he was a Petty Officer AE1 Aviation Electrician.
On Jan. 31, 1998, Chester retired from Copperweld Steel after 46½ years in the Electrical Line Gang.
Chester is survived by daughter, Karen Lupinek of Goose Creek, South Carolina; son, Mark Davison of Cathedral City, California; grandson, Ethan (Megan) Lupinek; granddaughters, Becky (Adam) Oyer and Meredith Davison; and great-grandchildren, Emma, Alaina and David Oyer, and Eleanor, Margot, Clara and Chester Lupinek.
In addition to his parents and his wife, Phyllis, Chester was preceded in death by his brother, David Davison; sister, Rachel Davison; son, Randall Davison; and daughters Elaine Davison and Joyce Davison.
Pastor Myron Daum will be officiating the service at 11 a.m. Thursday, Sept. 24, at Carl W. Hall Funeral Home. Friends may call one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
He will be laid to rest in Sager Memorial Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the North Mar Christian & Missionary Alliance Missionary Fund in his memory.
