CHAMPION -- Angelo Ardingo, 96, passed away peacefully Thursday, Aug. 27, 2026, after a short stay at Windsor House at Champion nursing home.
Angelo was born Feb. 6, 1930, in Ravenna, to Peter and Marianne Ardingo.
He married Betty Quintiliani in November 1952. His loving wife passed away in May 2018 after a struggle with Alzheimer's disease.
Angelo was a Navy veteran, serving on the USS John R. Pierce battleship during the Korean conflict. After his service, he settled in Warren, where he was employed by Wean Manufacturing and later by Warren City Schools.
Angelo was a wonderful father, grandfather and great-grandfather. He was an avid fan of the Pittsburgh Steelers football and the Pittsburgh Pirates baseball teams.
He is survived by his children, Chuck (Christine) Ardingo and Danette Ardingo Rolfe; grandchildren, Anthony Ardingo, Angeal Isaacs, Lynsey Peck, Karri Rolfe, Theresa Moore and David Rolfe; 13 great-grandchildren, Lia, Amelia, Christian, Asher, Camryn, Jacob, Parker, Elyse, Collins, Noah, Silas, Vayda and Quinn; as well as a sister, Jean Ciambotti.
Angelo was preceded in death by his sister, Connie Turco.
Family will receive friends for funeral services at 10 a.m. Tuesday, Sept. 15, 2026, at Lane Family Funeral Homes, Roberts Clark Chapel, 180 Garfield Drive NE, Warren, OH 44483, with a reception to follow.
