WARREN -- Virginia Higinbotham, 82, passed away peacefully on Monday, Aug. 3, 2026.
Born on July 1, 1944, in Warren, Ohio, Virginia was the daughter of the late Forrest DayTibbs and Blanche Elizabeth Greenwood Tibbs.
Virginia enjoyed the simple things in life and found her greatest happiness spending time with her family. She loved tending to her garden, feeding the birds and hosting family cookouts that brought everyone together. She shared a special bond with her grandchildren and treasured every moment spent making memories with them.
In addition to her parents, Virginia was preceded in death by her son, David Lee Higinbotham; and 10 siblings.
She leaves to cherish her memory her children, Tonja Higinbotham Gill of Niles, Dennis Higinbotham and Sue Ann Brown (Justin) of Washington; her siblings, Glenn Tibbs of Pennsylvania, Darrell Tibbs of Leavittsburg, Donny Tibbs of Newton Falls, and Loretta Tibbs; her beloved granddaughters, Krystal Cox (Justin), Seairra Higinbotham and Elizabeth Gill; as well as many other grandchildren, nieces, nephews, extended family members and friends.
