YOUNGSTOWN -- Sharon M. Park, 61, formerly of Warren, passed away peacefully into eternal rest Friday, July 31, 2026, at St. Elizabeth Youngstown Hospital.
She was born June 2, 1965, in Warren, the daughter of Robert Melvin Park and Lela Dixon Park. She had lived in Youngstown for the last four years.
Sharon graduated from Newton Falls High School/TCTC, Class of 1983. She started out working as a beautician, and then, when a car accident prevented her from doing that kind of work, she was hired in 1988 at Imperial Skilled Nursing Home in the dietary department. Wanting to do more for her patients, she went on to accelerated schooling and became an LPN. Sharon continued working for Imperial Skilled Nursing Home for over 22 years as a dietitian and as a nurse. In her spare time, she loved doing puzzles, diamond art and spending time with her beloved pet, Daisy Mae.
Preceded in death by her father, Robert M. Park, and her brother, Steven M. Park, Sharon is survived by her mother, Lela Toots Park of Niles; her sister-in-law, Cindy Park of Newton Falls; and many cousins.
Calling hours will be from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Monday, Aug. 10, 2026, at the Newton Falls Methodist Church, 336 Ridge Road, Newton Falls, OH 44444. A memorial service will follow at 1 p.m. Monday, at the church, with Pastor Jennifer Dorn officiating.
Cremation has taken place.
Sharon will be laid to rest in Lutheran Cemetery, Newton Falls.
