WARREN -- Richard W. Realty, 78, passed away Friday, July 31, 2026, at Hospice House in Poland, Ohio.
He was born May 9, 1948, in Youngstown, Ohio, the son of Ruth Wahlenmaier Realty and John J. Realty III.
Richard was of the Protestant faith and was a veteran of the U.S. Army. He worked as a millwright for 44 years at Republic Steel, LTV, and then WCI Steel. He was a proud member of the United Steel Workers.
He enjoyed fishing, golfing, bowling and camping. The time that he spent with his grandchildren was very special to him.
Richard is survived by his two sons, Richard C. (Danielle) Realty of Boardman and Russel (Alisa) Realty of Greenville, Pa.; his daughter, Kelly (Chad Manchester) Lipka of Boardman; a brother, Robert J. (Lisa) Realty of Hubbard; a sister, Irene (Richard) Szanny of Hubbard; six grandchildren, Harley (Brian) Stanchin, Jackson Lipka, Adam Lipka, Caitlyn Realty, Chase Realty and Josiah Realty; and two nieces, Brittany Dobay and Breanna Realty.
He was preceded in death by his parents and his partner of 25 years, Val Zella.
A celebration of Richard's life will take place at a later date.
