CORTLAND -- Linda Lee Horner Hernandez, 67, passed away Tuesday evening, Aug. 11, 2026, at St. Elizabeth Youngstown Hospital.
Linda was born on Dec. 27, 1958, in Warren, a daughter of the late Alden and Dorothy Fike Horner.
She was a 1977 graduate of Maplewood High School and a loving homemaker for her family.
She enjoyed gardening, working on puzzles, listening to her records (especially Elvis) and, most of all, enjoyed spending time with her family.
Linda will be deeply missed by her loving children, Antonio M. (TyeLanae) Hernandez and Christopher (Kate) Hernandez; grandchildren, Hannah, Jacob, Madison, Antonio Jr., Serena, A'leena, Sophia and Olivia; siblings, Debbie (Art) Ellis, and Terri Bartholomew; and many nieces and nephews.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, William J. Hernandez, and brother, James A. Horner.
Family and friends may visit from 4 to 6 p.m. Monday, Aug. 17, 2026, at Lane Funeral Homes, Shafer-Winans Chapel, located at 164 N. High St., Cortland.
Funeral services will begin at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Aug. 18, 2026, at the funeral home.
Burial will follow in All Souls Cemetery, Bazetta Township.
