WARREN -- Joseph Floyd Sprague, formerly of Brookfield, 78, died Friday, Aug. 21, 2026, at Washington Square Health Care Center.
He was born Nov. 8, 1947, in Sharon, Pa., a son of Leo E. and Hilda M. Hansen Sprague.
He was a veteran of the U.S. Army, serving in the Vietnam era.
He retired from employment at Sharon Steel and had previously been employed as a foreman at Jennings Manufacturing, Masury, and Packard Electric.
He was a member of the former St. Bernadette Catholic Church.
Survivors include his daughter, Miranda Sprague of Brookfield; sisters, Virginia Blair of Niles, Sandy Patrick of Williamsburg, Virginia, Mary Ellen Sprague of Austintown, and Missy Syersak of Orangeville.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Monica Sprague; one brother; and one sister.
There are no services.
Interment will be in the Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery.
