VIENNA -- Jack R. Stefanik, 69, of Vienna, passed away on Thursday, Aug. 6, 2026, at St. Elizabeth Youngstown Hospital.
Jack was born July 17, 1957, in Elyria, Ohio, a son of Stephen and Donna May Jarkowski Stefanik.
He had worked with his dad and brothers installing siding and worked in maintenance at Calex Corporation. Later, he was a self-employed heating and air conditioning technician.
He was a veteran of the United States Army with the Airborne Division and a member of VFW Post 3307 of Youngstown and the Army Navy 360 of Youngstown.
He enjoyed hunting, fishing, being outdoors, tinkering with things and motorcycles.
Jack will be fondly remembered and sadly missed by his family: his wife, Selena L. Scott, whom he married Oct. 31, 2002; his daughters, Carrie Stefanik of Masury, Stephanie Stefanik of West Middlesex, Pa., and Schaniel (Matthew) Irwin of Niles; five grandchildren, Kylie, Lexi, Madison, Ivie, and Avery; five great-grandchildren; and a nephew, Jaden Scott, whom he helped raise.
He also leaves his sisters, Robin Gross of Mexico, Missouri, and Christine Stefanik-Sayers of Hubbard; and several nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.
Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his sisters, Theresa and Twila; and brothers, Stephen, Scott, Larry and James.
