George F. Wisneski 1949-2026

HOWLAND -- George F. Wisneski, 77, entered into eternal rest Wednesday, Aug. 12, 2026, at the Cleveland Clinic.

He was born April 25, 1949, in Warren, the son of Frank G. and Eugenia Grey Wisneski.

A 1967 graduate of Warren G. Harding High School, George enlisted in the U.S. Army and served in Vietnam. He was a steelworker for Republic Steel and its successor companies, retiring after 42 years of employment. In his day, he loved to ride his motorcycle and was a drummer in several bands. In recent years, he enjoyed taking little trips and spending time with his wife and their dog, Priscilla.

Precious memories of George live on with his beloved wife of 35 years, Deborah Dickey Wisneski, whom he married April 27, 1991; his son, Scott Wisneski (Amanda) of Howland; his stepson, Scott Brown of Newton Falls; his stepdaughter, Stacy Brown of Windham; four grandchildren; many great-grandchildren; and three sisters, Rose Ann St. Clair (Tom) of Howland, Florence Minter (David) of Texas and Amy Wisneski of Warren.

Preceding him in death were his parents, and one grandchild.

Per George's wishes, there will be no services. To honor George's good life, do a good deed for someone, and remember George and his loved ones in your thoughts and prayers.

His urn will be laid to rest in Windham Township Cemetery.
