WARREN -- Evonne Baiduc, 79, died at her home on Wednesday, July 22, 2026.
She was born on Jan. 25, 1947, in Pittsburgh, Pa., to Mary V. Eisenberg Wadsworth and Dale C. Wadsworth. Both of her parents and her stepfather, Francis J. Murphy Sr., preceded her in death. She married David A. Baiduc, DVM, on Dec. 17, 1983; and he preceded her in death in January 2022.
She is survived by her four children, Veronica (Lawrence Orozco) Wadsworth, Nathan "Josh" (Dawn) Hulick, Rachael (Christopher Negro) Baiduc and Caitlin (John Hunchar) Baiduc. Also surviving are her grandchildren, Tara Hulick, David Kubancik (Janine), Jacob Wadsworth, Beckett Hulick, Violet Hulick and Adelie Baiduc; and her great-grandchildren, Carson, Liam, Addison and Aubrey.
Evonne earned both her bachelor's degree and her master's degree from Youngstown State University. She devoted her professional life to helping others as a social worker and counselor at several agencies in Mahoning and Trumbull counties, approaching her work with compassion, wisdom and an unwavering commitment to doing what she believed was right. Integrity was one of the principles by which she lived; and she sought to treat others with honesty, fairness and respect.
She was an avid reader who enjoyed a well-written mystery and nonfiction books about nutrition. Her home was her favorite place; and she took great pride in creating a beautiful space for her family and her animals. She especially enjoyed planning family gatherings and celebrations.
Music was another lifelong passion. She studied piano, voice, cello and guitar in earlier years, and she carried an appreciation for music throughout her life, spending hours listening to classical music on her kitchen radio. Most of all, she had a deep love for animals and was known throughout her life for rescuing injured or sick animals.
In keeping with her wishes, there will be no calling hours or funeral services.
The family extends their gratitude to the staff at Mercy Health St. Joseph Warren Medical Oncology, University Hospitals Geauga Medical Center, Compassionate Caregivers Home Care, and Harmony Hospice Ohio, for their kind and respectful care.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made to the Animal Welfare League of Trumbull County.
Arrangements have been kindly and thoughtfully handled by Staton-Borowski Funeral Home and Cremation Services.
