NILES -- Dorcas Rochelle Haynes, 48, died Friday, Aug. 7, 2026, at her residence, following a short illness.
She was born Nov. 2, 1977, in Warren, a daughter of Cecil L. Jr. and Nellie R. Summerlin Haynes.
She was employed as a store associate at Walmart in Austintown, and as a cook at Shepherd of the Valley.
She was a member of the Hoyt Street Flourishing Ministries Church of God in Christ.
Survivors include her son, Jaden Anton Elliott of Monroeville, Pa.; daughters, Alex'Zandrea and Christine Poohshe Elliott of Champion, and Arianna Ruth Elliott of Niles; her parents, both of Warren; brother, Cecil R. Haynes III of Austintown; sisters, Demetra Haynes-Sanneh of Columbus, Dianna M. Haynes of Warren and Felicia Ofori Dadzie of Youngsville, Louisiana; four grandchildren; and special friend, Jody Anton Elliott of Niles.
Calling hours will be 11 a.m. to noon with services at noon Friday at the Hoyt Street Flourishing Ministries Church of God in Christ.
Burial will be in Pineview Memorial Park Cemetery.
Arrangements were by the Sterling-McCullough Williams Funeral Home.
