WARREN -- David Alexander Swonger, 28, of Warren, Ohio, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, July 29, 2026.
Born Dec. 11, 1997, in Warren, David was the beloved son of Mark and Lynn Swonger. He will be deeply missed by his parents and stepmom, Melissa; his brother, Michael Swonger; his stepsiblings, Michael, Ashley, and Steven (Sam) White; along with many extended family members and friends who loved him dearly.
David had a personality that was impossible to overlook. Funny, outgoing and full of life, he had a natural ability to make people laugh and bring energy into a room. He enjoyed being around the people he loved and was often happiest when surrounded by family and friends. David had a way of making himself part of the moment, creating memories and leaving an impression on the people around him.
David worked for Amazon and took pride in his independence and the life he was building for himself. Above all, he treasured the people in his life and the time he spent with those closest to him.
David will be remembered for his humor, his outgoing spirit, his unmistakable personality and the love he shared with his family and friends. His life touched more people than he may ever have known, and he will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing and loving him.
Though his time with us was far too short, David's memory will remain in the hearts of his family and friends forever.
A celebration of life will take place at a later date.
Rest peacefully, David. You were loved, you are missed, and you will never be forgotten.
