Curtis Ray Lewis Jr. 1971-2026

WARREN -- Curtis Ray Lewis Jr., 54, passed away on Monday morning, Aug. 3, 2026, at St. Joseph Warren Hospital.

He was born Nov. 1, 1971, in Ashland, Kentucky, a son of Curtis Ray Lewis Sr. and Gayle Smith Lewis.

He was a graduate of Niles McKinley High School and retired from General Motors in Lordstown. He enjoyed watching action movies and his favorite television show was Law & Order: SVU. He also spent time cooking family meals and playing video games. He would always listen to classic country music.

Curtis is survived by a daughter, "his baby girl," Katie Ray Lewis of Weathersfield Township; two sons, Reece Lewis of Weathersfield Township, and Andrew Zadravec of New York City, New York; two sisters, Carrie (Eric) Cook, and Charlie Mae Lewis; nieces, Mileena Cook, and Amber Schueler; and nephews, Nate Cook, and Kyle Manning.

Curtis was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, James Manning.

A memorial service will be at 1 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 15, 2026, at the Holeton-Yuhasz Funeral Home, Niles, where family and friends may call one hour prior to the service. The Rev. Douglas Brown of the Apostolic Pentecostal Church will officiate. Burial will be at a later date in Crown Hill Burial Park/Cemetery.
