WARREN -- Alexis Fusselman, 81, of Southington, passed away peacefully on Tuesday morning, Aug. 18, 2026, at University Hospitals in Cleveland.
Alexis was born on March 21, 1945, at home in Daisytown, Pa., a daughter of the late Alex and Margaret Duritza Temar.
She was a 1964 graduate of California, Pa. Area High School and moved to Warren following graduation. She worked at Guarnieri's Candy and then at Packard Electric.
After marrying William Fusselman, Alexis left the workforce to become a full-time homemaker. She was the loving, caring and supportive wife and mother that anyone could ask for. Along with volunteering for many of her children's activities, Alexis returned to work in the lunch program for Southington Schools.
In addition to being devoted to her family, Alexis enjoyed going to wineries and cheering on the Mahoning Valley Scrappers. She was especially talented at sewing and cross-stitching, having won a contest for her impressive cross-stitch of the Trumbull County Courthouse in Warren. Most of all, Alexis cherished the time she spent with her family, especially visiting "home" in Pennsylvania. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
Alexis will always be remembered by her children, David and Paul Fusselman; sister, Bobbi (Dave) Hixon of California, Pa.; and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Besides her parents, Alexis was preceded in death by her husband, William Fusselman; and her sister, Debbie Fear.
