WARREN -- Willie Mae Westbrook Howard, 89, died Saturday, July 25, 2026, at Community Skilled Health Care.
She was born May 6, 1937, in Yazoo City, Mississippi, a daughter of Dave and Dora Mae Watts Westbrook.
She retired from employment in housekeeping at St. Joseph Warren Hospital and was a member of the Covenant Church of God in Christ.
Survivors include her sons, David Howard Jr. of Cincinnati, Jessie Howard Sr. of Warren and Larry Daniel Howard Sr., and Ernest Howard, both of Columbus; her daughter, Cornelia Howard Smith of Warren; her sisters, Rosie Oates of Chicago, Illinois, Dorothy Edwards of Collins, Mississippi, Linda Hopkins of Yazoo, Mississippi, Addie Ingram of Jackson, Mississippi, Lola Gower of Ridgeland, Mississippi, and Flora Moorehead of Plano, Texas; 12 grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, David Howard Sr.; two brothers; and three sisters.
Calling hours will be 10 to 11 a.m., with services at 11 a.m. Tuesday, at the Greater St. John's Church of God in Christ, with burial in Pineview Memorial Park Cemetery.
