MESOPOTAMIA -- William D. Byler, 79, died Wednesday, July 1, 2026, at home.
He was born Dec. 17, 1946, in Huntsburg, a son of Dan J. and Martha Miller Byler.
He was an ordained minister of the Mespo Northwest District and a member of the Old Order Amish Church.
Survivors include his children, Katherine, Laura and Susan Miller, David, William and Chris Byler, and Esther Yoder; 65 grandchildren; and 116 great-grandchildren.
William was preceded in death by his wife, Sarah; son, Alan Byler; daughters, Martha Miller and Ruthie Byler; and five grandchildren.
Services will be 9:30 a.m. Saturday, at 10020 Bundysburg Road, Middlefield, where visitation will be anytime until the day of services.
Interment will be in Miller Cemetery, Huntsburg.
