CORTLAND -- Violet J. Greenwalt, 95, died Sunday, July 12, 2026, at home.
She was born April 11, 1931, in Warren, a daughter of John and Rose Wagner Carey.
She was of the Catholic faith.
She was employed at General Motors Lordstown.
Survivors include her daughters, Cindy Waltko and Janet Sawtelle, both of Cortland, and Gail Maloy of Warren; and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Violet was preceded in death by five siblings.
Services will be private, with interment in All Souls Cemetery, Bazetta.
