WARREN -- Vanessa A. Pellin, 71, of Warren, passed away on Tuesday, July 21, 2026, at Hospice of The Valley Hospice House in Poland.
She was born Dec. 31, 1954, in Warren, the daughter of Patrick A. and Dolores Petrillo O'Connell Sr.
Vanessa owned and operated Pellin Ambulance Services for 25 years; was a member of Saint Pope John XXIII Parish, Mt. Carmel Church in Niles; enjoyed cooking and watching old movies, especially "Gone with the Wind"; and gardening.
She will be sadly missed by two sons, Richard M. Pellin Jr., and his wife, Juliet of Lake Milton and Patrick Pellin of Austintown; two daughters, Tiffany Via, and her husband, Jeremy of Chattanooga, Tennessee, and Casey Olinger and her husband, Wayne, of North Jackson; two brothers, Patrick A. O'Connell Jr. and his wife, Mary Ann of Warren and Michael O'Connell of Niles; and six grandchildren, including Aidan Pellin, Kieran Pellin, Ari Via and Willow Via.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Friends may call from 2 p.m. until the time of the 4 p.m. funeral service Monday at The Joseph Rossi and Sons Funeral Home in Niles.
Burial will be in Ellsworth Cemetery. Arrangements handled by The Joseph Rossi and Sons Funeral Home in Niles.
