Patricia L. Cook 1932-2026

BRACEVILLE -- Patricia L. Cook, 94, passed away peacefully into eternal rest Thursday, July 16, 2026, at Paisley House Assisted Living in Youngstown, of natural causes.

On March 19, 1932, in Shawneetown, Illinois, Will O. and Eva E. Stanley Williams were blessed with the birth of their daughter, Patricia.

Patricia married the love of her life, Troy W. Cook, on Oct. 3, 1947; they were blessed with 63 years of marriage before his passing Aug. 24, 2010.

Patricia enjoyed gardening and being a stay-at-home mother, taking care of her family.

Memories of Patricia will be carried on by her loving family: her two daughters, LaJune Cook of Austintown and Pamela (Dana) Owens of Lordstown; three sons, Troy (Arlene) G. Cook of Pittsburgh, Pa., Bill (Mari) Cook of Washington and Timothy (Sherry) Cook of Champion; and four grandchildren, Elena Eaken, Ben Cook, Jenna Kochif and Kyle Owens.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Troy; her sisters, Eutha Williams and Mary Bush; her brother, Thomas Williams; and a half-brother, Walter Wilkerson.

Calling hours will be noon to 1:30 p.m. Sunday, July 19, 2026, at the James Funeral Home in Newton Falls. A funeral service will immediately follow at 1:30 p.m. at the funeral home.

Patricia will be laid to rest next to her husband, Troy, in Braceville Cemetery.
