WARREN -- Patricia Ann Barnes, 79, passed away on Friday, July 24, 2026, at Armstrong Memory Care Assisted Living, surrounded by her family.
She was born June 24, 1947, in Hohenwald, Tennessee, a daughter of the late William Byram and the late Jewell Battles Byram Hudson.
On July 10, 1976, she married Thomas E. Barnes; they celebrated 50 beautiful years together this year.
Patricia, lovingly known by friends and family as Trish, was a 1965 graduate of Warren G. Harding High School and later studied at a local cosmetology school. Trish was a Christian who loved her Jesus, as one could tell by her well-worn Bible. She read and studied it daily. She owned and managed Patricia's Hairstyling Salon for over 40 years alongside a daycare center for children.
Trish was a member of the Harriet Taylor Upton Association. She loved spending her time outdoors gardening and walking and was also an excellent cook, hostess and homemaker with impeccable taste. All of her grandchildren agree that Grandma Trish made the best chocolate chip pancakes and cookies. Trish was the loving heart and foundation of her family and will be deeply cherished and missed by all who knew her.
Left to cherish her memory are her beloved husband of 50 years, Thomas E. Barnes of Warren; her sons, Dale Dean (Beth) Sanders of Howland and Brett Sanders of Marblehead, Ohio; stepdaughters, Susan (Thomas) Houser of Flowery Branch, Georgia, and Cynthia (Scott) Wagers of Cleveland, Tennessee; her sister, Theresa Arlene of Florida; stepsister, Rochelle (Larry) Naylor of Cortland; grandchildren, Tyler, Victoria, Breanna, Brooke, Jordan, Hanna, Amanda, Maria, Brandon and Dalton; great-grandchildren, Magnolia, Marleigh, Bryce and Aubrey; as well as many beloved nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Services will begin at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, July 29, 2026, at Carl W. Hall Funeral Home, where Pastor Jim Dittmar will officiate.
Friends may call from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
Interment will be in Crown Hill Burial Park, Vienna.
