LEAVITTSBURG -- Nancy J. Darnell, 78, passed away Tuesday, June 30, 2026, at Hospice House.
She was born March 24, 1948, in Warren, a daughter of Roland C. "Nub" Ritter and Beverly Jean Geddes Stottlemire.
Nancy was a bus driver for the LaBrae school district for 39 years. She enjoyed crocheting, puzzles, cooking and baking, and loved spending time with family and grandchildren.
She is survived by her daughters, Beverly (John) Allen of Niles, Monica (John) Kocher of Cortland, Holly Pyne of Austintown and Kristi Owens of Warren; sister, Cindy DelBianco; niece, Teresa Finley; nephew, Keith Henry; great-niece, Josie Finley; 14 grandchildren; and 22 great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth L. Darnell Sr.; son, Kenneth Darnell Jr.; grandchildren, Jenna Darnell, Kenneth Darnell III, Alec Darnell and Johnathan Allen; sisters, Donna Henry and Diane Thornsberry; and nephew, David Stottlemire.
Services for the family will be private.
Interment will be in Pine Knoll Cemetery, Warren Township.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the Carl W. Hall Funeral Home.
