Maryann Albani Jones 1965-2026
BRISTOLVILLE — Maryann Albani Jones, born in Warren on Dec. 12, 1965, the youngest of six children, passed peacefully after 10 years following complications of Alzheimer’s disease, on Sunday, July 5, 2026.
She graduated from Warren Western Reserve High School in 1984 and was a Kent State University alumna. She married in July 1986 and was just shy of her 40th wedding anniversary when she passed.
Maryann was a devoted mother of three, a member of Bazetta Christian Church, an avid jogger and worked as a registered nurse for more than 30 years. She loved her family more than anything but was always there to help out someone in need. She was known for baking Christmas cookies, helping with the church Easter egg hunt and making feminist quips. She loved Bruce Springsteen, napping, shopping and watching TV. You could find her sipping on Diet Coke and munching on peanut M&Ms or chocolate peanut butter ice cream while dancing to Michael Stanley Band or laughing with her girls.
She was the best mom and took care of all the kids in the family at holiday parties and reunions. She will be truly missed.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Eugene and Julia Albani; and her brothers, Gerald and Gregory Albani.
She leaves behind her husband, Scott Jones; her children, Kasey, Ally and Alex Jones; her siblings, Mark, Lisa and Eugene Albani; 26 nieces and nephews; many great-nieces and great-nephews; and her in-laws.
Calling hours will be 10 a.m. to noon Saturday, July 18, 2026, at Bazetta Christian Church, 4131 Hoagland Blackstub Road, Cortland, OH 44410, where services will begin at noon, with Pastor David Chafin officiating. All who know and love Maryann are welcome to attend and celebrate her lovely life.
