WARREN -- Lino A. DiMatteo, 66, died Saturday, July 18, 2026, at home.
He was born Jan. 10, 1960, in Salerno, Italy, the son of Luigi and Gina D'Urso DiMatteo, moving to the United States when he was a child.
He worked as a pharmacist in New Jersey before retiring for health reasons.
He is survived by his partner of 24 years, Deborah Hills-Haney of Warren; his stepsons, Jerry Haney of Howell, New Jersey, and Timothy Haney of Scotch Plains, New Jersey; a grandson; his adopted stepdaughter, Samantha McGrady of Diamond; his sister, Maria Verso of New Jersey; and his brother, Jay DiMatteo of New Jersey.
His parents preceded him in death.
Services are private.
