CORTLAND -- Joshua "Josh" Dallas Anderson, 36, of Cortland, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, July 19, 2026, at his home.
He was born Nov. 5, 1989, in Warren, the son of the late Steven P. Anderson and Pauline Anderson.
Josh was a 2008 graduate of Bristol High School.
He was owner and operator of Joshua Tree Service, where he was passionate about growing his business and serving others.
He was a hard worker and loved the outdoors, spending time with his family, and attending Gannon and Maddox's sporting events. In the past, he enjoyed racing and sports cars.
He is survived by his mother, Pauline Anderson; fiancee, Lacey C. Hudson; sons, Gannon T. Yuhasz and Maddox J. Yuhasz; maternal grandmother, Luella Applequist; sister, Brooke Anderson; along with many aunts, uncles and cousins.
Josh was preceded in death by his father, Steven P. Anderson; maternal grandfather, Dallas Applequist; and paternal grandparents, Hubert and Barbara Anderson.
Services will be noon Friday, July 24, 2026, at Carl W. Hall Funeral Home.
