Jency M. Ingram 1929-2026

WARREN -- Jency Melba Ingram, 97, entered into eternal rest Tuesday, July 14, 2026, at home, in the company of her loving family.

She was born March 14, 1929, in Leesburg, Florida, the daughter of Jeff and Luvenia Townsend.

Jency graduated from the Lake County Training School in Leesburg. In 1986, she completed her education to become a healthcare technician.

She attended Alpha & Omega SDA Church, where she served as church clerk and deaconess, and sang in the choir. She also attended Warren SDA Church, where she served in the women's ministry, the food pantry, and as a deaconess.

Jency loved to be in her garden and greatly enjoyed her plants, both outdoor and indoor. She also enjoyed fishing, traveling and spending time with her family.

Precious memories of Jency live on with five children, Michael W. Ingram Sr. (Robin) of Warren, Jeffrey L. Ingram of Warren, Sheila L. Ingram of Warren, Richard S. Ingram (Arcella) of Warren and Marc A. Ingram (Rowena) of Fort Washington, Maryland; 17 grandchildren, Torono, Tara, Dr. Monique, Satora, Michael Jr., Christopher, Tiffany, Pamela, Keyana, Crystal, Marissa, Anthony, Jynelle, Romaire, Cherry, Julius and Jody; many great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren; two sisters, Lillian Washington and Louise Baugh, both of Leesburg; one brother, Jackie Edward Townsend of Leesburg; two sisters-in-law, Dorothy Townsend Gavin of Youngstown and Betty Townsend of Detroit, Michigan; and a host of nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends who adore Jency and think of her fondly.

Preceding her in death were her parents; her beloved husband, Millage Ingram; three sons, Millage A., Lester C. and Edward L. Ingram; and her grandson, Patrick.

Calling hours are 10 to 11 am Friday, July 24, 2026, at Warren Seventh Day Adventist Church, 1645 North Road NE, Warren, OH 44483, with services beginning at 11 am July 24.

All who know and love Jency are welcome to attend and celebrate her remarkable life. Interment will follow in Oakwood Cemetery.
