Frances Stampfel 1937-2026
WARREN — Frances Stampfel went home to the Lord on Monday, July 6, 2026, after a brief battle with ALS.
Frances was born March 12, 1937, in Gillette, Wyoming.
Frances and her family later moved to Ohio, and Frances graduated from Jefferson High School. She went on to earn a bachelor’s degree in social work from Youngstown State University and a master’s degree from Ashland University.
Frances dedicated her career to helping others, working as a social worker at Trumbull County Children Services for over 35 years.
Frances leaves three daughters, Laurie (Joseph) Costantino, Linda (Steven) King and Toni Haidaris; five grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.
The family would like to thank everyone from Mercy Health Hospice of the Valley for their care and support.
Per her wishes, there will be no service for Frances. The family will have a private celebration of life in her honor.
