Stella Gill 1946-2026
WARREN — Stella Gill, 79, of Warren, went to be with her Lord on Friday, June 5, 2026, at St. Joseph Warren Hospital.
She was born as Stanislawa Irena on Oct. 7, 1946, in Altenstadt, Germany, to her beloved parents, Antoli “Anthony” and Nadzia “Nadja” Cyhan. She took the name Stella upon immigrating to the United States.
Stella was married to her soul mate, Robert Gill, and they shared a beautiful 63-year journey together.
A graduate of Warren G. Harding High School, Stella was a devoted follower of Christ, whose life was a true reflection of God’s love. She also devoted herself to caring for family and nurturing their happiness. She was a cherished member of Calvary Presbyterian Church.
Her enthusiasm for life was contagious, whether she was simply reading the bible, spending time in her garden, painting, camping, playing bingo or just savoring some ice cream which was her favorite. She reminded us all to soak up every joyful moment. Stella will be greatly missed.
Stella is survived by her husband, Robert Gill; children, Renee Gill of Warren, Frank (Kathleen) Gill of Warren and Stacy A. (Jason) Barrackman of Southington; siblings, Mary Stiner of Warren and Leonard Cyhan of Middlefield; grandchildren, Robert, Ryan and Colton; and great-grandson, Ashton.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Anthony and Nadja; her brother, Anatole Cyhan; and her sister, Helena, who passed away as an infant.
Memorial services will be at noon Saturday, June 20, 2026, at Carl W. Hall Funeral Home, where the Rev. Dr. David Black will officiate.
Friends may call from 10 a.m. until service time at the funeral home Saturday.
Inurnment will be in Pineview Memorial Park in Warren.
