Sonya Rochelle Davis Harden 1968-2026
WARREN — After a valiant and courageous four-year battle, at 10 a.m. Friday, June 5, 2026, our Heavenly Father gently whispered, “Sonya, come with me,” to our beloved Sonya Rochelle Davis Harden, who passed away at her residence. Sonya, 58, a fighter and true warrior until the end, heard the Master’s call. She trusted Him throughout her journey, relying heavily on her favorite passage of scripture, Proverbs 3:5-6.
God graciously gifted her to us March 15, 1968; she was the daughter of Ronald N. Sr. and Dolores Davis.
A lifelong resident of Warren, Sonya was a 1986 graduate of Warren Western Reserve High School and attended ITT Technical College. She was a child support establishment caseworker at the Trumbull County Child Support Enforcement Agency, beginning her career Aug. 8, 1988.
Sonya was a member of Second Baptist Church, where she served with her time, her talent and her treasure. She taught Sunday school and Bible study and was active in the children’s church ministry. She also served as children’s church director and directed vacation Bible school. A student of the Word, Sonya faithfully attended Thursday evening Bible study. She served on the Louis Riggins Scholarship Committee as a dedicated secretary.
In her spare time, she enjoyed gardening, bowling, fishing and spending time with family.
She married Timothy Harden Sr. on Aug. 30, 2003.
Besides her husband of Warren, those left to celebrate her life and cherish her memory are two sons, Aaron Williamson and Timothy Harden Jr.; two daughters, Kiera Williamson and Brittany Williamson; three granddaughters, Neveah Williamson, Aaliyah McMillion and Aujha’e Williamson, all of Warren; two brothers, David A. (Michelle) Davis of Augusta, Georgia, and Ronald N. Davis Jr. of Columbus; one sister, Tonia (Andrew) Thornton of Lordstown,; one uncle, Charles (Faye) Reid Jr., of Columbus; two aunts, Evelyn (James Sr.) Howard of Warren and Carolyn (Gregory Sr.) Arnold of Columbus; her sister-friend, Rose Jones, of Brookfield; her faithful furry companion, Kobe; as well as a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents; maternal grandparents, Charles Sr. and Hattie Reid; and paternal grandparents, Leonard and Josephine Davis.
Sonya was a beautiful soul who allowed her light to shine. She leaves a legacy of love, kindness, compassion and caring. She will be sorely missed and lovingly remembered.
A homegoing service will be held in her honor at noon Saturday, June 20, 2026, at Second Baptist Church, 1510 Main Ave. SW, Warren, OH 44483, where family and friends may pay their respects from 11a.m. to noon.
She will be laid to rest in Pineview Memorial Park, Warren.
Expressions of sympathy may be left for her family at www.bricelandfuneralservice.com.
