AUSTINTOWN - Leonard L. Ulrich, 69, passed away Wednesday, May 20, 2026.
Born Feb. 17, 1957, he was the son of the late Leonard P. and Maxine Baker Ulrich.
He was a graduate of Lakeview High School and worked as a mechanic / millwright at McDonald Steel for 40-some years before retiring.
He loved camping and fishing. He loved his dogs and took in many homeless ones throughout the years. He always had a helping hand and was there whenever you needed him, along with a joke.
Leo will be sadly missed by his wife, Pamela Ulrich; brother, Tim Ulrich; and sister, Deb Ulrich (Jack). His sister, Cheryl Wade, is deceased.
He is also survived by nieces, Amber (Butch) Solarz and Nicole (Anthony) Ramano; nephews, Travis Blaney and Nate Ulrich; stepdaughters, Leslie and Christine and their families; aunts, uncles and cousins; and special childhood friend, Rusty Hite.
After cremation, upon Leo's request, there will not be any services at this time.
All funeral arrangements have been taken care of by the family.
