John E. Allison II 1952-2026
WARREN — John Edward Allison II, 73, passed away Saturday, June 13, 2026, at Washington Square Healthcare.
He was born Sept. 1, 1952, in Warren, the son of John Edward Allison and Doris Pitcher Allison.
John was a graduate of Howland High School. Following graduation, he joined the United States Air Force and was honorably discharged Oct. 13, 1974. Over the years he worked for many companies in sales, which included Senior Employment Center, Keebler Company, Western and Southern Life Insurance Company and USAF Payroll Stateside.
He enjoyed watching Westerns, playing cards, golfing and fishing and was an avid fan of the Ohio State Buckeyes, Cleveland Browns, Cleveland Cavaliers and Cleveland Indians.
He is survived by his son, Joshua Allison; daughter, Tia (Damar Anderson) Allison of Columbus; siblings, Robert “Bob” (Paula) Allison of Louisville, Dawn Rae (Nick) Constantino of Warren and Tim Allison of Arlington, Texas; and grandchildren,Tylen and Mariana Anderson, both of Columbus; along with many nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sisters, Jessie Wolfe and Cindy Moran.
The family would like to extend a special thanks to management and the staff at Washington Square.
