Helen Christin 1928-2026

MIAMI, Fla. -- Helen Kropolinksky Christin passed away on Wednesday, June 24, 2026, in Miami, Florida, where she has been residing for the past years.

She was born on March 27, 1928, in Revloc, Pa., a daughter of Nicholas and Anna Dubetsky Kropolinsky.

Helen married Nicholas E. Christin Sr., on Nov. 1, 1947, who preceded her on Jan. 4, 2001. They were married for 53 years.

She was a member of the Blessed Sacrament Church in Warren for many years.

Helen was an avid golfer, belonging to several women's leagues.

Helen is survived by her son, Nicholas E. Christin Jr. and his wife, Felicia; grandchildren, Nicole (Luis), Michael (Natasha) and Catherine (Vic). She is also adored by her great-grandchildren, Tatiana Christin-Smith, Mia Christin, Savannah Silva, Nicholas Christin Navarro and Selene Silva.

She is preceded by her siblings Al, Mary, Nicholas, Joe and John.

Helen has been residing at Eastridge Village for the past four years and cared for by her loving aides, and Alicea and Dorys Justiano. The family wishes to thank them for their absolute devotion to her and will forever be grateful for the love, care and attention they provided. Helen loved those women and enjoyed their company.

Family and friends may visit from 10 a.m. to noon on Thursday, July 2, 2026, at Lane Funeral Homes Roberts-Clark Chapel, 180 Garfield Drive NE, Warren.

Funeral services will follow at noon. Internment will take place in All Souls Cemetery in Bazetta Township.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to St. Teresa of Calcutta Parish, Blessed Sacrament Church in Helen's memory.
