Frank J. Bielecki 1927-2026

WARREN — Frank Joseph Bielecki, 98, passed away Sunday morning, May 31, 2026, at his home.

Frank was born Dec. 2, 1927, in Warren, a son of the late Antoni and Helena Wojnar Bielecki.

Frank was a 1946 graduate of Warren G. Harding High School and enlisted in the United States Army to serve during World War II. He graduated from tank school in Kansas and then proudly transferred to the 82nd Airborne as a paratrooper, serving stateside. For his service, Frank earned the rank of sergeant and was awarded the World War II Victory Medal and received an honorable discharge.

Upon returning home, Frank married the love of his life, Margaret “Marge” Babnic, on June 25, 1955. The two celebrated 60 years of marriage before Marge’s passing in 2015.

Frank had a 45-year-long career at Packard Electric, retiring as a tool and die maker.

Outside of work, he enjoyed fishing, watching baseball, and most famously, gardening. Frank was an avid gardener and tended to a variety of flowers and vegetables every year.

He and Marge were faithful members of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Warren, where he was a council member, Knight of Columbus and member of the Holy Name Society. Most importantly, Frank was devoted to his family and cherished the time he spent with those he loved. He will be deeply missed.

Frank will always be remembered by his children, Andrew R. Bielecki Sr., Frank T. Bielecki of Livermore, California, and Janice (Kevin) Allard of Hilliard; three grandsons, Andrew R. (Marybeth) Bielecki Jr., Anthony Bielecki and Robert Goodson; sister, Wladza “Virginia” Makosky of Warren; and many loved nieces and nephews.

Besides his parents, Frank was preceded in death by his wife, Marge Bielecki; son, Anthony S. Bielecki; sisters, Leah Misiolek and Emily Magusiak; and brother, Edward Bielecki.

Family and friends may visit and pay tribute to Frank 5 to 7 p.m. Monday, June 8, 2026, and 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, June 9, 2026, at Peter Rossi and Son Memorial Chapel, 1884 North Road NE, Warren.

A funeral Mass will begin at 11 a.m. Tuesday at St. Teresa of Calcutta Parish-St. Mary Church, 232 Seneca Ave. NE, Warren, OH 44481.

Burial will follow in All Souls Cemetery.
