WARREN — Frank Joseph Bielecki, 98, of Warren, passed away at his home on Sunday morning, May 31, 2026.

Frank was born on Dec. 2, 1927, in Warren, the son of the late Antoni and Helena Wojnar Bielecki.

He was very proud of his Polish heritage and carried those traditions with him throughout his life.

A 1946 graduate of Warren G. Harding High School, Frank enlisted in the United States Army and served during World War II. He completed tank training in Kansas before proudly requesting a transfer to the 82nd Airborne Division at Fort Bragg, North Carolina, where he served as a paratrooper and jump instructor. He attained the rank of sergeant and was honorably discharged following his service.

On June 25, 1955, he married the love of his life, Margaret “Marge” Babnic. Together, they shared 60 years of marriage, until her passing in 2015.

Frank worked at Packard Electric for 45 years, retiring as a tool and die maker.

Outside of work, he enjoyed fishing, playing and watching baseball, and, most notably, gardening. An avid gardener, he planted a wide variety of flowers and vegetables each year, and every spring, family and friends looked forward to visiting and enjoying his colorful daffodil gardens.

A devoted member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Warren, Frank served as a council member, Knight of Columbus, and member of the Holy Name Society. Affectionately known as “Mr. B,” he was instrumental in forming and coaching the St. Joseph men’s softball team, fostering fellowship and encouraging participation within the parish.

Above all, Frank was devoted to his family. He cherished the time he spent with those he loved and will be remembered for his kindness, sense of humor, and steady presence. “Uncle Frank” enjoyed family picnics and welcomed drop-in visits from nieces, nephews, and neighborhood friends. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

Frank is survived by his children, Frank T. Bielecki of Livermore, California, Andrew R. Bielecki Sr. of Warren and Janice (Kevin) Allard of Hilliard; his grandsons, Andrew R. Jr. (Marybeth) Bielecki, Anthony M. Bielecki and Robert Goodson; his sister, Wladz “Virginia” Makosky of Warren; and many beloved nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, Frank was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Marge Bielecki; his son, Anthony S. Bielecki; his sisters, Leah Misiolek and Emily Magusiak; and his brother, Edward Bielecki.

A Funeral Mass will follow at 11 a.m. on Tuesday at St. Teresa of Calcutta Parish-St. Mary Church, 232 Seneca Ave. NE, Warren.
