Bruce Collins 1952-2026
WARREN — Bruce Edward Collins, 73, passed away into eternal life Friday, June 12, 2026, at his residence, surrounded by his loving family.
He was born on Aug. 7, 1952, in East Liverpool, the son of the late William Edward Collins and Ruby Ellen Payne Collins.
He had lived in Warren Township since 1974 and worked as a spot welder for General Motors in Lordstown. Bruce was a member of First Assembly of Pentecost Church and UAW Local 1112.
Bruce loved old cars, especially his 1930 Ford. He was an avid fan of the Cleveland Browns and enjoyed going to auctions. His grandchildren were his pride and joy, and he cherished every moment with them.
Memories of Bruce will be carried on by his loving family: his wife of 55 years, Nancy Collins of Warren Township; daughter, Nicole (Kyle) Boyer of Warren; two sons, Frank (Stacy) Collins of Lake Milton and Shawn (Shelly) Collins of Warren; four brothers, Dennis (Judy) Collins of Southington, Roy (Judy McGraw) Collins of East Liverpool, Darrel (Anna) Collins of Leavittsburg and Mark (Anna Ballew) Collins of Burghill; seven grandchildren, Christopher, Kayla, Tiffany, Matthew, Alexis, Anthony Collins and Paege Davis; and two great-grandchildren, Bentley Rock and Asher Collins.
Bruce was preceded in death by his parents and by his sister, Deborah Collins.
Calling hours will be 5 to 7 p.m. Wednesday, June 17, 2026, at the James Funeral Home, Newton Falls.
Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Thursday, June 18, 2026, at the funeral home, where additional calling hours will be 10 to 11 a.m. Thursday, prior to the funeral services.
Bruce will be laid to rest in Reformed Cemetery, Southington.
